Lunchtime Poll

If you could change something about your appearance, what would it be?

(and don't be a tool and say "everything")

And.. GO!

Re: Lunchtime Poll

  • I would fix my forehead. Of course my mother had to remind me of how much I "need Botox" when I saw her last night so this is fresh in my mind. *eyeroll*

  • My hips - I had two surgeries on each hip in middle school, and there are big 6 inch scars on each one with a ton of lumpy scar tissue underneath and it's ugly and makes all my pants/skirts/dresses fit weird.

  • I'd get rid of my belly fat.
  • My thighs.  I would definitely get liposuction.
  • My face - I feel really awkward when I smile because I have very chubby cheeks (even when im not fat). I would like less in the cheeks and a thinner face overall (bone structure).
  • I'd fix my nose.  It's not THAT bad but it was an ugly nose to begin with, and then when I was 5 I got hit by a truck and it broke my nose, so its a little crooked.  I am really self conscious about it.
  • My fat knees.  Seriously, no matter how much weight I've lost in the past I have the stupidest knees ever.  They run in my family.

  • I have terrible skin. Blotchy, prone to blackheads, big pores, moley, freckly, the works (thanks, dad, for the shitty skin genes).

So I'd trade that in for better stuff.
  • I want to be taller.
  • My freckles, although my FI likes them. I don't.

  • I'd like to get a nose job (to get rid of the bump) and a chin job (to get rid of the stick-out-ed-ness).

  • Definitely my belly fat.
  • I could use a little more up top.
  • I would change my teeth.  They are super tiny and the top ones are shaped really weird.  It looks like there are these gaps in between them and that theyre crooked but its just how theyre shaped.  I hate them.  HATE.  When we have more disposable income I fully plan on getting veneers put on the front six.

  • My eczema.  I hate it.  My skin is dry and flaky year round, always, no matter what and sometimes it's visible on my face and I hate it.  When I change clothes, dry skin goes flying everywhere and it sucks in dressing rooms.  If I rest my arms on my pants, there will be dry flakes of skin all over them.  Sometimes I'll put on makeup and have to scrub it all off because my skin is so flaky.  My hands are always peeling and red and blotchy.  It's embarrassing and gross.  I really hope if I ever do have kids someday that they don't have allergies or eczema.

  • I'd like to lose ten more pounds. I've lost ten so far but the last half of this has been a real biitch :P
  • The lines I'm starting to get around my mouth. The slight ones around my eyes, I can deal with. I don't like the ones above my lips and I'm not sure that surgery can help that. But I am actually considering it in the next few years. (I gave DH fair warning last night that I think I might want to do it 4 years from now -- gives him plenty of time to process that idea!)
  • I'd get my nose fixed.  It has a weird bump up top that's genetic.

I'd do that over lipo because it'll stay like that forever.  Although, if I could have skinny upper arms, I'd take that over my nose.  Hmm...

  • I'd probably change my nose. Thanks for that, dad.
  • I'd like a longer torso.  Even when I lose weight and have little actual fat around my midsection, I look bigger than I am because I am so shortwaisted and have a wide ribcage.
  • I'm working on it :)  I want to lose some weight and be healthier.  I have gotten pretty good at making changes though.  The next thing is pick an exercise routine and stick with it.  I hope I get addicted to running, I hate it right now.

Something that would require a lot of money to fix and can't do on my own?  Electrolisis.  Everywhere but my head pretty much.

  • Wouldn't mind longer legs.  Trying to get my flat belly back.  It disappeared.
  • My teeth and overbite. I have had braces for 10 months and my teeth are now almost perfectly straight, and I'm having surgery next year to correct my overbite.

If I could change something else, it would be my nose.  We'll see now next year's surgery goes.
  • My stomach. It looks like my butt is on backwards.
  • I already had my boobs done (smaller, not bigger) and had major surgery last fall to correct a lot of dental issues.  Would get lipo in a heartbeat. Are there such things as chin implants? I'd get that because I don't have a chin.
  • I kinda wish I had either fuller lips or slimmer thighs. That's about it really.

  • My skin.  I've had acne since I was in 5th grade and I can't seem to ever get rid of it.  I'd love one of those super expensive laser treatments that gets rid of the acne and the scars and makes your skin all smooth.

And, my teeth.  4 years of braces did nothing and they're funky.
  • I'd fix my skin.  I'm tired of taking antibiotics and using creams that make it peel.  New boobs would be okay too, since I don't have any.  Clear skin, however, would be my #1.
  • My nose. It's bumpy from having been broken.
