Honestly, this article proves that these women married shitty husbands, not that they're not financially savy, IMO. What most of these stories boiled down to was husbands lying about finances to their wives.

I don't post here often but I have to pipe up on this one. These women are morons. The first one is a corporate executive and didn't think to keep an eye on her finances?! 

these women also need better lawyers.

The main story is about a shitty husband, sure.  And an anecdote about a husband having premarital debt and extravagent spending habits.  But I think the rest is good (kind of common sense) advice about taking charge or at least being aware of your own finances.  Like the article said, ignorance is not bliss.

The last part mentions she's struggling to raise her children on the "meager child support payments her lawyer negotiated."  She makes over 200K a year!
