Beckwith Pointe vs. Davenport Club vs. V.I.P. Club

I am newly engaged and starting to look for a reception location for Nov 2013 wedding. I have been looking at New Rochelle venues and would like any personal opinions if any one has selected these venues. THANKS!

My friend was married this past weekend at the VIP club.  Everything was beautiful.  The service was excellent.  It was a very lovely evening. 

When I was looking for venues, I really didn't like the Davenport.  It was very outdated looking.  The view of the sound from the Davenport is amazing!  The price is excellent.  I've never been to an event there, so I don't know about the food or service.  I have never been to Beckwith Pointe.

My Sister Got married at the VIP a few years ago. It was excellet! Great price and service, the food was great and more than plenty. She didnt like the admosphere at the Devenport Club though.

Now I am planning my wedding and would love to use Beckwith Pointe in March 2013. I am hoping to see it this Saturday for a better idea. If you have already seen it let me know your thoughts!!

I went to view Beckwith Pointe and met w/ banquet mgr. Linda. The smaller room had a great view right on the water. The cocktail room is adjacent to the ballroom but divided by a partition. They have a food tasting showcase next month that we will attend. I will let you know about the food after.

I'm currently booked at the Greentree Country Club for a Sept 2013 wedding. I'm really excited!!! I looked at ALL of the places on the strip there in New Rochelle and found that Greentree had the most beautiful ballroom i've ever seen and it has the biggest stretch of beach out of all of the places. I really want to have beachy pictures from my wedding so it was just perfect!!! I almost booked Beckwithe but the ballroom pales in comparison to Greentree's.I hope this helps!
