It was a beautiful weekend in New England. The weather is actually supposed to say this nice for a little while too. I love this!

Monday Blues here too... it doesn't help that I've been fighting off this nasty cold for the last week and it's still giving me hell. I'm not sick enough to stay home from work... but I am sick enough to be miserable about having to go. Grrrrr.

Meh. I didn't have to be up until 10 but Fi woke me up at 6:30 and I'm still awake. So what's a girl to do? Stay in bed online and look at tropical honeymoon sites :-)

Morning! It's a beautiful day here today, and from the weather report it looks like it's going to be lovely all week. FI is going to be here tonight to stay for the whole week, and I have a long and busy day ahead before I can go to the airport to pick him up. I realized a little wistfully last night that this is the last time he's going to fly in to visit me in Delaware....

Really, I've got pretty much nothing to complain about. Everything is going great for me right now, and I am the embodiment of puppies and rainbows. And we're going to book our venue for our wedding tomorrow, so that means our wedding is real.

Sarah, I saw you were looking at netbooks.  i love my ASUS Eee.  I have the 8" w/o an internal cdrom.  That is the only downside I've seen so far and it's been my main computer for a year.  And I use a wireless mouse.  The touch pad is a pain in the butt, but that could be because I never use the touchpads even on a larger lap top.

Mornin'!  Not happy to be back at work today.  We had gorgeous weather this weekend, even got out on the boat on Friday even though it was freezing while we were running out to the bay.  But I think we're going to the travel agent to book our honeymoon tomorrow after work so that's exciting

Thanks! I'm really nervous about this netbook thing because I've really been burned with my last two laptops, so I'm actually planning on getting a netbook and a new desktop, and using the netbook as a satellite computer (also I want to have something cheap for blogging in Italy this summer). All I know at this point is that I want to get one with Windows 7 on it. It's a confusing market.

Morning, ladies! I'm kinda nervous today for a job interview I have tomorrow. I haven't been on an interview in oh, 9 years? I was at my last job for over 8 and have been unemployed for 6 mos. If they tell you the dress is casual, I still need to dress up for it, right? Ugh! I hate job interviews! That's probably why I never left my previous crappy job until they made me.

Today I'm finally (almost 5 months after the wedding) going to to Social Security office to get my new card and start the whole name changing process.

If it's casual I would probably dress business casual. I hate job interviews too but I'm sure it will be fine! Good luck!


Good morning everyone! I'm dreading today too, but I always dread Monday. I really don't want to work especially since there is so much I need to get done around the house.

It is a good morning for me bc its gonna be a beautiful day and I have tons of errands to do. Hopefully traffic won't be too terrible yet bc the Master's is in the city where we live (Augusta) and I am officially done with my job. Will just be substitute teaching from now til after the wedding when I am officially hired to teach permanently. Yeah!

I am on spring break. Suckers! Had a good Easter, and I'm looking forward to not HAVING to do much of anything this week. I reality, I'm going to rip up the carpet in the laundry room and repair the leak, in preparation for putting down ceramic tile.

I'm on pins & needles because my kids should be here soon - I haven't seen them since  March 26 when they left for Fla with their dad for spring break.  They are in for some serious hugging and smooching.

Morning.  My allergies are still sucking my will to live at the moment.

This week at work should be pretty sucky, but next week, I come in to work Monday, fly out to Vegas for a conference Tuesday-Thursday, fly home Thursday night, then fly out to Napa for my b-party Friday afternoon.  So that's pretty awesome. 

And this weekend I have my half marathon, which I'm terrified of, and my second bridal shower.  Eek.

Thanks, Sara! And thanks to those who gave advice on what to wear. I think I'll sport black slacks & a dressy top. As far as the job, I think it's pretty much in the bag, though, becuase they already said I could start in May, 2 weeks after J's surgery. And it's doing what I used to do, on the same system, but not in a supervisory role (which is fine by me!) and with different products. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Goodmorning! I just woke up and already my day is turning out awesome - I had a nice shiny email waiting for me when I turned on my computer inviting me to a 2nd interview later this week. Its supposed to be fairly nice today so I might have to venture out and fix my garden enclosure, ive been suspecting something was getting into it and my husband went out with the dog on saturday night and found a HUGE rabbit in there which busted out a corner so I have to fix the corner and staple down anywhere it might be getting in. Blah!

Thanks julez I am excited. The 1st interview seemed to go REALLY well, so hopefully the 2nd will be similar, its with the owner of the company this time though. My first one was with two of the sales guys who I seemed to get along with really well. I hate admitting it but I get along WAY better with men, than women, so hopefully that works in my favour.
