Knot cliques

I see this often on the knot. What do you define as a knot "clique"? Are you in a "clique"? If you do think there are cliques, who are in these cliques?

I dont think I have a clique. I have quite a few knot friends who I chat with offline, but I dont see that as clique-ey.

I don't think I am, but someone else might disagree. It's hard to tell online, since we don't sit at the same lunch table or any of that crap. Maybe I'm oblivious to cliquedom.

I'm clique-less. I don't think they're a big deal though. I think it's nice that people can form friendships with people they otherwise wouldn't have met if it weren't for the boards.

I don't know. I certainly have the same people I love to fool around with on here on a consistant basis, but I would do that with pretty much any one on this board given the chance

So Mandy, Alix, Fische, Amoro, P2 (and others, can't think of names though)- I can see as a clique but at the same time I also realize that they are friends. Still...

As a lurker I just think a lot of girls continue a relationship outside of the knot, and they become close and some others may percieve that as cliquey.

Seriously, I talk to certain people on here because... well, I just comment on their posts? I'm FB friends with some knotties. But I'm FB friends with some knotties I don't talk to much on here. Doesn't mean I don't like them or want to exclude them from my awesome life. Which is basically what I think a clique is. An exclusive group. Some people (like that biitch who just posted and called us RUDE) would probably think the whole board is a clique.

Bec, heels and Cew, I can see as a little clique (not a bad one though)
Also, Sucrets, Beatles, Rach, Meaghan....If I'm part of any clique I'd say it would be that one (or maybe thats wishful thinking )

The difference between friendships on this board and "Cliques" as that the cliques make other people feel like they can't participate or they're stupid for thinking something other than they do.

Now, I have no hard feeling about anyone I posted about (or any regulars here-at all) but those are my thoughts on the matter.

Well, I think this was made particularly obvious this week by the name a knottie polls in which it seemed like they answered each other for everything. Honestly, I could care less. I think it is really great they are all such good friends. If they suddenly stopped talking to any one but themselves it would be weird but until then, I am good!

Yes, its when they shut other people out that I feel its sucky. Thats the fine line between the clique and friendship imo.
