Hi girls,
  I'm getting married in Jersey but live in NYC. We're looking for a photographer with photojournalistic style who's reasonably priced. We only want the hours and rights to all pics on a DVD. Who'd you use and did you love them?

    We used Zorn Photography, he's based in Philly (our wedding was in FL) and he is absolutely amazing.  He won the "Best of weddings" this year from the Knot.  he's not cheap though, worth every penny...

    I don't know what your rate you consider reasonable.  I used Todd Laffler and he was amazing he gives you all your pictures and he works out of NJ.  Check out his website lafflerphotography.com

    We absolutely loved our photographer - Jimmy Ryan (www.jimmyryanphotography.com).  He's such a pleasure to work with and got amazing photos.

    I used Duet (www.duetwedding.com).  They were amazing and very reasonably priced.  I got all of my pics on CDs, as well as 600 touched up and uploaded online.  My package included three albums, video and 3 dvds, and it was $5000.  That was two years ago though, their prices may have gone up since then.

    Bill Walsh of Stellaviews Studios (Google business, it should pop up first).  You'll get all your images, no hassle; he's super fun and professional to work with - we are still waiting for proofs but he was great the day of and within our budget.

    we used Cody Raisig (http://www.codyraisig.com/). He was amazing to work with and very professional. He really made sure to find the best lighting and his artistic talents show in his pictures.

    I LOVED Lee Morris of R.L Morris  http://www.rlmorrisweddings.com. The quality of the pictures are just as good as the ones he posted online and I'd be happy to show you some of mine or a gorgeous slideshow he surprised us with. 

    And here's a fun fact about him - Bon Jovi asked him to be their photographer while on tour in NJ!  He just returned. 

    He's based out of both NYC and Charleston.  My wedding was outside of Charlseton, but I met with him in NYC. 

    I highly recommend him!
