Question 1 backround: My fiance and I got engaged just about a year ago and never did engagment stuff just because we were planning the wedding to be 2-3 years out. Now the wedding is this september. I have no engagment photos or anything. Also I never had an engagment party. I never planned one because my family said they were going to and then never did.
Question 1: Based off the above info is it wrong to do that stuff now? I think that having the party is wrong but alot people are saying otherwise. I think the pictures are a must at this point.
Question 2: would it be totally wrong of me to keep my ceremony smaller, only close family and friends and invite everyone else to celebrate with us at the reception?
