Anyone still around?

Re: Anyone still around?

  • Yep yep. Just reading through a book before I head to bed. My mind is always so active after work.

  • Yep.  Looking up wording for a love letter and wine box ceremony.  And waiting for the comforter to dry.  Stupid fluffy down takes for damn ever.
  • Whit, I thought you were still at home. Either way, check your email. :)
  • I am here! Might step out for a cig (fie!) but will be back. Love the new pic, Roxy. Too damn cute.
  • Mocha- thanks for reminding me that I did not finish the laundr today. Ughhh...

Whits- I'm always drained after work. In the morning on my way to work I have a lot of energy and fantisize about cleaning the house...then work happens and my boss flips out and that energy drains :(
  • I'm around. I'm bummed out since DH and spent our first married Easter on separate coasts. :(

  • Sunshine- thanks! It shows off how horribly toothy I am
  • Still at work you mean? No worries, I just got here :)

  • I'm here, but I'm heading to bed in the next few minutes. I was just trying to figure out what netbook to get... there are just so freaking many of them. I think I need to go to Best Buy and see some in person.

Wouldn't it be nice to live together in the kind of world where we belong?
  • I agree the new pic is cute!

That's all I got done for laundry.  Had grand plans to get a ton done this weekend.  But, I ended up working a double shift yesterday to cover a sick call-in, and the comforter took up all the time I had this morning in the washer and starting in the dryer.

Oh well, add it to tomorrow's list...:-(
  • Aww Bel, I'm sorry, that sucks.
I spent Easter with T but we argued this morning. Me telling him to shut up about how "Fat" he is (he's not!) and him getting annoyedwith me asking for shoe help. Not a good start haha

  • T did last weekends left over laundry this week for theres not much too do. I just feel guilty. I have a hard time doing it during the week because I get busy/ tired after work and don't finish it so it sit in the washer/ dryer forever.

  • Whit, I think it finally sent. My outlook has been crazy lately.

This.  Or, I get it out of the dryer and run out of time to fold everything, so it all sits in a laundry basket for days getting wrinkly.  Drives FI up the wall.
  • I know roxy, I have such high ambitions for after work, you'd think being a little more awake would make me motivated to do something, but it never happens! haha.

  • I don't mind laundry at all. So I do all the laundry, all the time. In exchange, DH does dishes, which I hate.

I'm extra bummed about him being gone because he was only home for 36 hours before leaving again and we fought the whole time. There's always an adjustment period when he comes and goes, and it's been very rough on us lately.

See, I refuse to take it out of the dryer unless I'm going to fold it right then. Instead I just keep turning the dryer on for 10 minutes to "fluff" things so I can fold them. Except....I forget again.
  • Yo soy aqui. DH rushed me into the shower so we could go to bed and guess who's now hooked on Tool Academy?

  • Oh same here. I love 16 and pregnant. Love it.
  • Roxy- what you call "toothy" other people would call an "enviable smile." You are gorgeous; but I digress.

BTW, I'm still determined to try this "dry suit diving" in Alaska this summer. Everyone says I am crazy, but when do you get the chance to snorkel in Alaska?! Um, never. So, anywho, what do you think?
  • I think it sounds awesome. Just watch out for orcas. I'm terrified of orcas.

  • I have some design mags and a comfy bed calling my name. Goodnight!
