Central Park Boathouse

Thinking of having the ceremony/reception dinner there for 40 +/- people (in a private room) in April 2013.  Can anyone tell me about their experience there?

    If the weather is good you're golden.I've been here for affairs 3 times. Twice it rained and the roof leaked! The chairs were horribly uncomfortable and the birds ate the rolls that were set up on the tables before the guests sat down. That was really disgusting!

    I posted a question about the boathouse a few months ago when we were looking into reception sites and got nothing but amazing feedback. I also talked to a few brides who had their weddings there as well as event planners who hosted corporate events and also got rave reviews. We decided to book our wedding there and are really excited. Best of luck!
