Good evening ladies, I'll catch up with the thread after this post...

I'm totally redoing a paper that's due tomorrow as my professor rejected my premise.   This has really pizzed me off, even though it's only a 1000 word minimum 1500 word maximum. I LIKED my original!!! I thought it was unique, but still within the confines of an analysis of another authors essay. (I was comparing/contrasting two different forms of satire, Horatian and Juvenalian). Her arguement was that it went against her instructions, but she didn't implicitly state that I couldn't do this in the instructions!

So, fuuuck it, I don't want to fail the paper, since it's 20% of my grade, so I have to re-do it...she's the professor. But, damnit she should have been more specific!

Hi everyone! I just woke up from a pretty long nap and i'm still exhausted. 

I wake up to H telling me that the graphic designer he recommended to take over his old position at an old job is claiming his work as her own and I'm infuriated.H has worked really hard to get where he's at today and his skills are off the charts. She's just starting out, but literally to take his work and put it in her own portfolio like she did it is absurd.

Muni - a long time ago, you had a sig picture of yourself with red hair and a turquoise skirt, but I didn't know you very well and was still sort of lurking, so I didn't ask. I think you had a black hat on. What was that for? I got the sense it was a Halloween picture (I joined in October). That, or you were sort of goth and awesome. I don't know why I'm curious after all this time...

That's good news, Edie.  I hope the neck feels better soon.

I hope the Kings win the Cup too.  Their goalie is from CT, and he used to play hockey with my dad's boss's son.  I don't know him, but it's crazy; the whole state (at least the southwestern part) is all psyched up.  I hope they win.

Edie- That's horriable about the accident, and scary. I hope PT gives you a full recovery.

Wrigley- I am livid, so his he. He is writing her an e-mail to take it down and she better. He recommended her for the job, like why in the world would you do that?? He is also in contact with his previous employer so hopefully it all gets straightened out. I would hate for her to get another job with my husband work.

Tempered glass has saved tons of lives and prevented lots of horrible injuries. You can get cut up, but gone are the days of decapitation by windshield...a la horror movies.  Still, seeing that crack and knowing it was your noggin that caused it...burrrrr scary.</div>
