Can't find a guitarist...HELP!

I had my heart set on having an acoustic guitarist play for my ceremony.  I have been searching for someone for several months now and have had zero luck.  I thought someone in my church was going to do it, but that did not work out.   Does anyone know any guitarists near the Charlotte area who play weddings?

You could check a local college for a music major. It would probably be less expensive and they would do just as good a job as a pro.

Have you tried Craigslist?  You could post what songs you're interested in and meet somewhere public to have them "audition" before hiring. 

Also dito PP about a music major.  Queen's has a really strong music program, that might be a good place to try. 

If you attend a church or are getting married in a church they may know of someone who plays.
