frustrated... need advice

I SENT AN INVITATION TO MY FRIEND WHO I USED TO WORK WITH. WE DONT TALK THAT OFTEN BUT she WAS SO EXCITED TO HEAR I WAS GETTING MARRIED SO I SENT HER AN INVITATION. WHEN I RECEIVED HER RSVP it SAID IT WAS FOR THREE PEOPLE. I DID NOT address it her PLUS GUEST AND AM STUNNED THAT SHE IS BRINGING TWO PEOPLE. WE ARE ON A TIGHT BUDGET. IS THERE A WAY TO SAY THAT WE CANT AFFORD TO HAVE HER BRING TWO PEOPLE WITH HER (especially since we rarely talk and i dont know her parents even if it was them) ? OR AM I STUCK?
