Evening!

Re: Evening!

  • Seriously - why can't we complain about the censorship? It's annoying, and we're women. What else do they think we'll do?
  • Daff -- I didn't even realize that was already next week! Now I'm excited. :)

  • SYTYCD STARTS NEXT WEEK?

    You just made my week.

  • I just saw an ad for some sort of medication and this was included in their warnings:

"discontinue use if you see signs of early puberty in children or signs in a woman such as extra body hair.  Men who have breast cancer should not use this product."  WTF?  Those are by far some of the weirdest side effects I've heard on an ad before.

Yep! I hope this season doesn't piss me off.
  • I just made the red lobster biscuits from pinterest.

    They're effing awesome.
  • J makes the red lobster biscuits a lot too, Muni. I love them but they give me the worst digestion.

  • Wow, now I really want a Red Lobster biscuit.

I warmed up alfredo sauce, chicken, broccoli and asparagus (and some noodles) for dinner.  I'll probably have ice cream later :).

No fuuucking kidding.  Last season I just DVRed and I FFWed through everything besides the dancing.  I only watched the dancing.  I still got mad when I'd see who was gone, but I couldn't watch anything else.

I feel like it's been ages since that season.

  • Last season of SYTYCD bored me for some reason.  Every other season, I was glued to.

  • So I've been MIA for the last few days.  I see the TK hasn't gotten any better.

I started my job  this week.  It's going well I guess.  Pretty overwhelming.  They are really behind the technology train.   The owner's son it trying to upgrade stuff, but his choices have been more cost based and not quality based.  So our phones and internet are going down all the time at the same time when he is switching to internet based programs.  Add in an 60-something-year-old "I don't do computers or email", well, It's interesting.

    Anything new going on?

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • Guys, I just got an email from one of the fuckers who flaked on my letters of recommendation.  Just a normal, random "hey, how's it going?" email.  Help me be a bigger person and just ignore it instead of ripping her a new one.

Yayyy, gender stereotyping. I'd like to think I can complain about censorship because I'm an adult who is supposed to be guaranteed the right to free speech, not because I have a vagina.

LaBella-- Panties wouldn't bother me. Moist, raw, juicy, gash, and slit do, though. Ughhhh.

  • Oooh, guess who is getting some buttermilk biscuit mix tomorrow! Thanks : )
  • Ugh, J.  It would be so difficult to not reply that life would be awesome if only your recommendations had come in.
  • Just delete it.  No good will come from saying anything :)  And then delete it from your trash in case you feel the need to respond later.

  • Good call on deleting it from trash too.  Fuuucking fuuucker.  Now I'm angry, because just seeing that email got my blood boiling about the whole thing all over again.

J - this will make you smile..

Belive it or not, I wore this dress again for halloween the next year.  I had a tiara and long gloves and was a princess :).  I felt oh so pretty.

    ETA: deleted picture.

  • I am going to flip my shiiit if TK continues to eat my posts.
    image
  • Plus if you think about it, deleting it and ignoring her might get your point across that you are livid with her.  But you still get to take the high road by not actually saying anything.

She'll be all "I wonder if J got my e-mail?  Is she ignoring me?  No she can't be ignoring me, she must not have gotten it.  Or did she?"  Total mind games without having to do a thing.

  • Is TK doing that goddddddddamn thing where half the posts are in one universe and half are in the other?

I'm going to go eat leftover wedding cake and drink leftover wedding champagne in the bathtub with a Stephanie Plum book.
  • Ha, Loops, that's B-E-A-UTIFUL!
