Awesome or Lame?

So, if you've ever seen the movie The Labyrinth, the king of the goblins plays with this crystal ball throughout the whole movie.  

MOH LOVES that movie.  I found these https://www.fushigiball.com/?mid=743162&a=55959&s=148 which are "contact juggling" balls.  It looks just like the ones from the movie.

I think she's have a lot of fun with it, but I think it's kind of a weird gift.  So I figured I'd come ask you guys what you think!

I don't get what it's purpose is, but if she will like it then that's all that matters. Hell, I got my MOH a set of toy horses that we used to play with as kids and she about cried she was so happy (and then she played with them). It's a personal gift that shows thought, so I say go for it.

You know your MOH the best.  If you think she'd love it, then get it!

ETA: One of my BMs is a hardcore knitter.  That's her favorite thing in the world.  I'm probably getting her a GC to a yarn store.  Weird, yes, but I know she'll love it.

The BEST gifts are always personal.  So if you saw it and thought it would be a great gift for her then it will be.  It says you are special enough to me that I know who you are and what you would like.

I think it's an awesome gift - but I tend to get super excited about stuff that no one else thinks is cool :-p

I think she'll like it (and I'll probably get her something else too, I've got two things in mind)

ETA: YAY!  Golden gets it :-p.  I'm debating trying to learn the first scene with the whole "it's a crystal, nothing more, nothing less...." - 'cause I think she'd crack up!

My sister adores that movie, as do I , and both of us would flip out to receive something like that! I think it sounds awesome

I saw that thing on an infomercial recently.  I've never seen that movie, and even I think that ball looks fun.
