Maybe its just because the E board was the first I really regulary checked when I started on TK, but I don't find the regular posters to be rude at all.  No one gets mean until OPs backpedal or argue or are snarky themselves.

Haha yeah I don't go on my month board very often, I mostly just lurk there.  I find no one on here snarky or mean unless the OP Is going on about "it's my day" or fighting back against advice that doesn't validate their bad idea.  This is my favorite board to post on about all wedding stuff, not just etiquette, I've found the ladies here to be extremely knowledgable on all wedding aspects.  And I like that already married women post here, because again, they can offer advice in hindsight and what they did for their own wedding.

I've never even looked at the month boards... that was a fun 5 minutes.

I felt like a lot of those women when I first came around and started posting. And then it hit me that yeah it is etiquette and as much as we want it to chenge with the times, some things just don't.

For the most part I don't think that this board is as bad as it was when I made my first few posts. Honest, but not terribly mean or nasty, unless a thread comes along that just pushed that button....

... or when people start out things with I know I'll get bashed for this, but...

well at least you knew.

I will admit that I thought this board was scary when I first started lurking, but I've since grown to see that you all have good advice and when it does get a little out of hand, it's actually really amusing!  haha    Most of the short responses that people take offense to are really just things that are asked every day anyway. 

I personally frequent my month board just as much though.  I really like our girls and it's nice to see everyone's progress and when I'm getting blown out of the water on my to-do list by those girls!
