Unfortunately I need to wear the suit or at least be extremely dressed up tomorrow so there isn't any time for a tailor, but I plan on going to one afterward. I completely forgot to try it with a cami. I'll do that tonight. The habits of when and where I would smoke was the hardest part. I used the nicotine free e-cigs too. Then I would purposely keep myself busy and keep the e-cig in another room. I ended up being too lazy to stop what I was doing to go get it which made me quit faster. Good luck!
Posted by lovethebeach16
<div>Thanks!  This will be the last time I quit smoking.  The longest I've ever gone was when I was PG. I only recently stopped kicking myself in the arse for starting up again after I had the babies.</div>

• Quitting smoking is so mental.  I was like a pack every 2 days until I got pregnant.  After I had J I would only smoke when I didn't have her around me, so it was much less.  Then I got it down to 1 cigarette every night after I put her to bed.  For the life of me I couldn't go without just that one.  So mental.  Anways.  The day my sister was diagnosed with uterine cancer I never picked on up again.  I mean sure that was just 3 months ago, but it was the final push I needed to be finished.
• It is aleigh, especially b/c just 30 minutes ago it was a bright morning.  The thunder is shaking my work window.  Why couldn't the power just go out, I mean help me out here!  :)

<div>Well I'm still in school but I student teach next semester so I'll be at an elementary school 5 days a week and I'm trying to tell H it's not worth it to take the CC class since I can't carry in my car but he says if no one knows the gun is in there it won't matter. But that makes me nervous. </div>

Regardless of law, I'm sure your school district would have a policy about handguns on campus...and I'm pretty sure the policy would boil down to don't do it.  If you are concerned, I would check with your district.

• Thanks Lizzie!  She's doing very well.  Typically uterine cancer happens in the 55-70 year old range, she's 34.  So that sucked.  But the surgery went extremely well, they're confident they got everything so no radiation or chemo.  Also no more babies :(  but you do what you have to do.

</div><div>It is worth it to get the CC.  If it makes you nervous to keep it in the glove box, then don't, but unless the district can do random car searches, then you should be fine.  Just don't mention it to anyone.</div>

• Such is life.  It was found EXTREMELY early b/c she just wouldn't let up that she thought something wasn't right.  So she changed doctors to one that took her more seriously.  Definitely motivates me to follow through on things.
• Morning!  I think my cheesecake came out well.  I guess we'll find out this afternoon.

Stacks, I'll be thinking and praying about your sister.

I have three people in my real life going through cancer treatments right now. Two were just diagnosed this year.

ETA - Just saw that she doesn't have to go through chemo and radiation! That's wonderful! I'm glad she just wouldn't let up with the doctors and was determined enough that she switched to a new one.

• Good morning.  I'm tired and frustrated.  FI's grandpa's birthday is in like a week and I have a friend just coming back into town that I haven't seen all summer that I want to have dinner/lunch with before classes start.  But FMIL isn't telling us what time the celebrations for his grandpa is.

Lizzie, good luck on quitting. My mom has tried quitting in the past but it has been really hard on her. I think it is just different with every person because my grandpa was able to quit.

Stacks, well wishes to your sister.  I understand how scary that can be.

Also, I read the Steph stuff.  I don't get it. She didn't do anything.

• Thanks Midge.  And exactly Lizzie.  Don't say I'm too young, if the symptoms are there, they're there, check that stuff out.  I'm just glad it's over with and she got the final path report confirming all is well and she has recovered from surgery and all that.  Life is back to normal.
• Rsanna, how old is his grandpa going to be?
• Jeezum, Stacks.  I'm sorry about your sister :(

• Morning!  Mom is coming today...yay!  And H will be home tomorrow for the weekend, so all in all, today is looking pretty good.

Stacks-I'm glad your sis is doing well!  I also agree about the mental.  I'm currently at the one cigarette a night thing, and I just can't get the final push to not have it.

What e-cigs do you guys have?  Any recommendations?  H is still smoking almost a pack a day, so I need to get home something, so we can both quit.

• I think his grandpa is turning 92. Which is huge, I know.  I just wish we knew when everything was.

That's great! I hope you can get the information, it's kind of important. I'm still waiting on the time for a surprise birthday party next weekend too. Kinda of important information!

Wow, Stacks that is scary.  I'm glad she is OK and that she persisted in getting someone to take her seriously.  I tend to ignore things like this so I'm taking notes from your sister now.

So....just finished reading the AYG on SB yesterday and it looks like they got their wish for more drama.  Weird drama though, I'm wondering if Lucy is trying to go out in a blaze of glory.

• Midge, he just emailed his mom last night and asked for a specific time again. I'm just worried she is going to get all hurt over something.  But it happens and I'm used to it.

Calix, I just read some of their morning thread (yep, I'm a creeper) and Anna said that it wasn't actually Lucy who banned her, so they don't know who did it,
