Places to take pictures in New Bern

I am getting married in New Bern NC I am looking for some nice places to get pictures taken. My fiance is a marine stationed in Camp Lejeune and I am not familar with the area. Any Ideas? Thanks!

    downtown New Bern has some really pretty spots to take pics if you just walk around town. Also, Tryon Palace! Gorgeous in the gardens! 

    I had my engagement photos taken near New Bern at Fort Macon. I chose that spot because we could have some brick backgrounds and in the same parking lot go to the beach to have a second look for the pics.

    I would agree with downtown New Bern. There's a historic factor with many of the buildings. There's also a park with a beautiful gazebo that you could take pictures. Tryon Palace does offer picture services, so that's a good idea too. There are plenty of waterfront spots in New Bern to hit as well.
