I was going to say 'Confessions' but it's kinda late in the day, so it might just be a singular confession.  Mine.

I was just looking at an old FFF where I was getting my ass handed to me.  I thought I was over it, but... nope.  It still made me sad.

Also, I'm glad to find out my foot isn't broken, but I kinda wish it was so I could sit on the couch and be super lazy for a few days.

Amoro- I saw that stuff on IN after you posted about it in the 'I judge' thread.  It was BS; that mod is ridiculous.  I mean, seriously... GBCN'ing because you're "mean"?  Please.

I confess that I got a raise the other day and now I feel more stuck in my job.  Money is GREAT.  But, now it's going to be that much harder for me to make the switch back to hair when the time comes.

This probably belongs in "I Judge," but I confess that I judge the shiit out of MIL for, within 24 hours of DH's aunt's death, buying her car from DH's uncle, and asking me three times what shoe size I wore so I could come over and pick through his aunt's shoe collection.  I love the woman, but my god, she is so cheap she can never let stuff go to waste or sit around unused.  Tacky.  Ugh.

I confess I am stupidly happy that the new season of Psych starts tonight, and that the new season of Warehouse 13 started yesterday.  I finally have a reason to watch TV on Tues and Weds nights again. 

Also, I confess that I was super-excited to plan a trip to Vegas with my mom and Grandma Nugget for October, but now that the plane tickets and hotels are bought for everyone, I realize that we can't really spend more than a day in each other's presence before sh*t gets real.  So now I'm kinda dreading the trip.

My confession of late - I'm worried that Scott will never love our future children as much as he loves his niece. Lately whenever we bring up kids he always stresses how he hopes they will be just like Z, from Asian features to how she behaves. I'm kind of terrified that if our kid is completely different he won't love her/him as much as he does Z

I also confess that while I'm ecstatic that we got all the vet work done on Katie and have her on pain meds, it makes me cringe to think that we just had to spend 2 months of my pay on vet bills after spending 2 months worth on Dh's car needing repairs.

I confess that I cried when I found out that over 1/2 our guest list RSVP'd "no".  I know it's because of the distance, but I'm still bummed that so many of them can't make the trip.

I'm sad about no True Blood this week, too!  I was gone Sunday night, so I went to look for it on the DVR last night... H had to break the bad news to me.  Boo!

Don't worry Nuggs, Vegas is a big place. My coworker just went on a cruise with his entire extended family and it was way better than he thought it would be.

I've been a ton of times, and they haven't been since the late 70's (mom) and early 50's (GN) so it's pretty much going to be like a whole new city for them.  It also doesn't help that GN doesn't know how to use her "cell-a-ma-phone" and also gets very easily flustered and panicked when lost in unfamiliar surroundings.  I'm taking bets from my brother and Noodle how many hours we're in Vegas before we lose her.

I confess that I am mad at my sister for lying to my face and then making up another excuse when I semi I called her out on the lie. I still have to talk to her everyday almost every min since we work so close together. And the fact that her lying is hurting my mom in a way sucks even more.

I confess that I have been crying off and on for about 24 hours now.  Something tells me I wasn't nearly as ready to come off my ADs as I made my doctor believe.  Or maybe coming off them is what's causing this.  Or maybe I'm really just crazy.

Piggybacking on that one: my one cat Olive would drink water from pretty much only the glass on my bedside table. I confess that I'd still drink from the same. I'd change the water every day so I figured how bad can it be.

Both my cats are in quarantine until September since we've moved to England, and I'd actually be sad if she's broken herself of this habit by then - I just think it's really cute, watching her drink from it.

FI does this, but with beer bottles. Yes, he lets one of the cats lick his beer bottle. She loves beer.

I would be so sad to put my kitties in quarantine. :-(

Thank you for commiserating :^( It was so painful for me to do. It was because I didn't think to get their rabies antibody test done for their pet passports long enough before we moved to England - they require six months from the date of a positive test result. September is an early release for them though (as time between blood test and coming to England while we were in Dubai counted towards time served), so there's that. Helps very slightly.
