  • I don't have a best.  Or a worst really.  I haven't been to any weddings that had favors.
  • Best: Little jars of raspberry-champagne jelly.

    Worst: A wedding-themed candle.
    image
  • Best: Candy bar with giant Chinese food take-out boxes.

Worst: Votives with the B&G's name on it.

  • Best: Candy buffet.  We got these little boxes that open like treasure chests to put the candy in, and after we ate the candy we gave the box to our bird and he has been in love with it ever since.

Worst:  Either blue and brown candles (the wedding colors), or a match book with the couple's name and date.

  • best - a picture frame that was actually really nice. I put a photo of the bride and groom in it. But I have weird taste, so someone else who was at the wedding might put it down as their worst, lol

worst - a candle. I like some candles, but not this one. It smelled... fake, you know?

  • best - coasters that we could put a photo in, we haven't put a photo in them, but since they didn't have names or the wedding date on them we have used the coasters

worst - a shot glass with the names and date
  • Best- white and black chocolate covered strawberries

Worst- a camo coozie with the couple's name on it (the groom's name was spelled wrong too).
    Photobucket
  • Best: *little jar of "Stawberry Fields Forever Jam" that the bride and her mom made (old family tradition) for her Beatles wedding

Little handpainted soapdishes, with handmade soap- made by the couple

Worst? I can't think of anything really horrible.

Worst - CD filled with the B&G's favorite love songs

I can't think of a best - honestly not a fan of the whole wedding favor thing.

  • I've only ever been to 2 weddings in my life, and only 1 had favors:  Hershey Bars with personalized wrappers.  There was a candy buffet too.

But I would probably eat or use whatever favor was given to me, lol.  I think it's rude to throw it away.

worst: monogramed m&ms.  never ate them.

Best: a pretty box filled with really yummy white chocolates

Worst: Those little tubes of bubbles.  I don't think they're normally used as favors, but they didn't do anything with the bubbles at the reception, so I'm not really sure what the point was.
  • Best -- None. I think favors are stupid.

Worst -- All of the other ones.

  • I went to a wedding and we had personalized m&m's at the table waiting for us. Cute, but we scarfed them down because we waited so long for dinner. :P

  • best: homemade biscotti, dipped in chocolate...delicious!

worst: bottle with B&G's names/wedding date, filled with sand and tiny shells (beach wedding)...what the hell and I supposed to do with that?
  • Best - little bottles of limencello

Worst - what looked like straws that were filled with honey.  I just wasn't sure what to do with them.  They could easily break and leak if I put them in my purse or bag to take home, and there was no use for them at the reception.  So we just left them (as did the rest of the guests).
  • I haven't been to very many weddings that had favors, but here goes.

Best:  CD (sorry - I like those)

Worst: A fake plastic rock with a Celtic symbol on it.  WTF am I supposed to do with that?

  • Best: Godiva truffle in cute box; yummy cookies in a cute glass cookie jar (peel-off sticker with couple's name); assorted tea bags in a handmade tea mug (no name of couple on mug)
Worst: Jordan almonds; personalized martini glass or other breakable do-dad

This goes for me, also.  I went to a wedding with little bags of chocolate covered almonds, and that was way more awesome than than the votive I got from another wedding which I will never, ever use.
  • never got anything worth keeping, actually.

crap? I've gotten personalized shot glasses, votive candles, salt and pepper shakers, CD's, all sorts of junk that quickly made its way to the garbage
  • Best: Sugar cookies cut into the shape of a nurses cap (for the bride) and tooth (for the Dentist groom). I may or may not have eaten my fair share of these.

Worst: Cheap 3 can foam cooler with the B&G's name on it with the date.

Most weddings I go to just have chocolate kisses, so that's why I had the cookies as the best. :)
  • Best: A mini lucky bamboo at a Chinese wedding

  • believe it or not, I've never been to a wedding with favors.... or if I have been, I don't remember them which must mean they weren't remarkable at all.
  • Best:  coozies (useful)
Worst: personalized chocolates (found them in now-DH's jacket pocket too many years later)
  • Best: anything edible/ flower pots
    Worst: Bells.. oh boy.
