I also got a Kindle from my mom, and a Superamerica gift card from my grandma for gas, and nothing from my brother because he prefers to spend his money on liquor and cheap sluts at the bars in downtown Minneapolis. 

My FIL and MIL got me a bunch of stocking stuffers, and two hoodies and a set of jogging pants, and a Happenings book.  My grandmainlaw got me a gorgeous royal blue sweater, and my SIL got me a B&N gift card. 

Noodle got me the new Gucci perfume, a Visa gift card, some stocking stuffers (including GODIVA TRUFFLES ZOMG WERE THEY GOOD) and a really, really nice new coat, to replace the one I've had for the past 8 years, and a cover and light to go with my Kindle.

I got a Kindle, which was a total surprise, Lego Harry Potter for the PS3 and Jeopardy for the Wii; plus some other randoms- bottle of wine, cooling racks, socks   I love the Kindle so far, a LOT!

This Christmas was way weird for me. I was (pretty much) an only child my whole life (I have a half brother, but he's never around) and my dad always spoiled the crap out of me, so I always had TONS of presents under the tree. This year, however, was a bit of a reality check lol. H's side of the family decided to draw names, so everyone chose a name and then we got a $25 gift for one person. SIL got my name and bought be some board game I've never heard of that requires 5 people to play. I'm pretty sure I'll never get a chance to play it - however, I LOVE boardgames!

My parents were at our house early Christmas morning - I got a pearl ring, a necklace with a charm about "a mother's love" - I think my mom didn't understand it's supposed to be for a mom, or she wants me to have babies - and $100. H got me some bath and body works aromatherapy stuff and an IOU for a basset hound whenever we find one to rescue.

We put a $100 cap on Christmas, but I'm still kinda bummed. I'm a horrible person.  =(

Actually, I kinda blame H for me being bummed because before Thanksgiving, he sent me a picture of a Coach purse his boss was selling for $150 because her son had broken up with his girlfriend that she had bought the purse for. It was brand new - so I figured H was sending it to me to see if I liked it and then he'd buy it and give it to me for Christmas. THEN, on Thursday before Christmas, he and his friend went to 4 jewelry stores looking for Christmas presents and H sent me pictures of like 5 things. I was under the impression Iw as getting jewelry at that point. And then I got bath stuff and an IOU. However, I still feel like a bad person for being bummed about a gift.

Thanks, Emily!  Isn't Harry Potter fun??  I got through almost all of the 1st year stuff... I played for 4 hours on Saturday night

I rented it from Blockbuster a couple months ago and got to the first part of year 2. I got stuck in the infirmary with Madame Pomfrey (couldn't find the last piece I needed for a spell), and then I had to return the game, so I'm hoping that now it's mine I will be able to figure it out. It's the only video game I've ever really liked

Hi girls! Merry Christmas DH and I got a Kinect from my sis and FBIL. I got a bunch of baking/cake decorating stuff. DH and I also got a Spot Bot. DH got me coats, sweaters, and a shopping spree at Sur La Table.

Do you have Dance Central? That game is so ridiculously fun that it's not even funny. And it's a hell of a workout too. Makes me feel much better about not having been to the gym since last Wednesday.

The big stuff I got was a mini Keurig, and a Shark steam mop, and a Lands End down coat, a new coffee table and a pewter floor lamp.  I also got lots of little stuff like clothes, gift cards, candles, and bath stuff.

And LVB and Fish- I feel like you just insulted my child.  My NookColor is thebomb.com.  I got H one for Christmas too.  You get used to it in a day, and it doesn't cause eyestrain at all.  The only thing I don't like about it is the touch screen is too sensitive and sometimes I accidentally flip pages when I don't want to.

SALT GOT A PILLOW PET.  I bought that same one for my niece (and a lady bug one for her sister).  My SIL was like "All they've been talking about are Pillow Pets.  Just get them a Pillow Pet and they will love you forever."

My bio family did homemade gifts this year since money has been tight.  I made cookie tins for everyone.  My half-sister gave me a canvas she painted black with a little saying about sisters on it.  My half-brother gave me a hand-painted mug (that was actually more of a hand-scribbled mug, but it was very sweet!) and my foster brother gave me a balsa wood fish that he put together.  My birth mom is working on charm bracelets for me and my sister that she didn't quite finish before Christmas, and her husband gave us wood picture frames that he painted.  It sounds cheesy -- and it was, a little -- but we had the best time and everyone agreed that the handmade rule was a great idea.

From my other family, I received a peacoat, a fluffy bathrobe, a charm bracelet, a serving dish for my Spode Christmas set and more bath stuff than I can count.  I also got a Macy's gift card from my aunt and uncle and a $200 AmEx card from my boss which I promptly spent on pet supplies for the new house.

Jef and I decided not to exchange gifts this year.  We need to get the backyard landscaped, so that will be a late Christmas gift to each other when he finally moves down.

My folks bought me a new iPod to replace the one that was stolen (the house was broken into a few months ago) and gift certificates for getting my hair and nails done.

Both H and my ILs got me a Kindle (yup, two of the same model).  So I guess now I will have a ton of amazon credits to buy a bunch of books.  My parents gave me a couple sweaters.  My sister inexplicably gave H and me iPods (weird since we own 4 iPods between the two of us), so I suspect re-gift since her work gives her an iPod or two annually.
