**Birdie**

So, your Rapture ticker had H ROLLING this weekend. All weekend he was like "Thankfully we won't have to deal with these f*ckers in 6 days thanks to the Rapture" (We live near a church and if we want to get out of our neighborhood when church is letting out we have to wait forever).

We also noted that since we're going to Disney *after* the Rapture, that hopefully the lines will be short! Yay!

I just wanted to let you know that H thinks your ticker is epic.Wink

Re: **Birdie**

  • Haha thanks :) I find it very handy myself.

I used to live next to a huge church. I basically couldn't leave my apartment between noon and 12:15pm. I kind of want to have a rapture party on Saturday...

I just noticed Birdie's sig.  Hilarious.

I still positively do not understand why those groups either think that the rapture is 5/21 or feel the need to buy all those posters.  If they study the bible enough to think that the can predict the end of times, then they missed the important passage where Jesus says that no human will know when it's coming.  And if they think that warning a bunch of non-believers that the time is coming is going to do a darned thing, then they know nothing about human nature.

Gerr...  there are some frivolous dummies in the world.
  • Oh didn't you know Rosie? We're BFFs now. :) Like totally!
  • My church is near another church which is near a Swiss Chalet.  At 12pm on Sunday, you best not try to get a seat there.  It is battle of the churches.  We actually call it Christian Chicken on sometimes because every single table is inhabited with someone from one of the two churches.  Them elderly will RUN YOU DOWN.

My FI told me that in the small Alabama town where his mother grew up the Methodists purposely moved the service 15 minutes earlier so they could get to the country club for lunch before any of the Baptists were done with church. They were pretty serious about their Sunday afternoon meal I suppose.
  • OMG I love these stories! Haha
