my FI needs a wedding class lol!!

So sometimes I just feel like my FI needs to take a wedding class, one that talks about the things to do at a wedding, the proper attire,etc etc. It really bothers me that he has NO clue about anything wedding. Like for instance,1. He didnt know there was a father/daughter;mother/son dance(doesnt have to be but most often than not there is)2. He didnt know that all the bridesmaid carry flowers and all the groomsmen and grandfathers wear boutns. and so do grandmothers.3. He didnt know that there is an entrance song for mothers and grandmothers.4. he has no clue about the garter toss or the bouquet toss...He's just clueless...and it bothers me it shouldnt but i really get sick of having to tell him why we are doing this everytime he looks at our plans.anyone have a FI like this...

It kind of helps if the two of you have been to a wedding together...but FI was clueless on some stuff even still. He didn't know the duties of his groomsmen...lol. (well besides hosting the bachelor party...but he had no idea about ushering and day of duties).

hah when I read this. . it reminded me of my FI.We just went to my cousins wedding in GA this weekend (absolutely beautiful!! Plus I totally got a bunch of DIY ideas

) and he was like "wow. . I didnt know they did that!" and while it was a catholic wedding, and we're methodist/baptist. . there were a lot of similar things that "happen" in weddings. . So I agree. . dont "wedding crash" but I def. recommend going to a wedding together.Plus, he's sooo much more amped up for ours

He was like "Ohhh we can do this and that" and we talked about ideas and wrote things down in my planning notebook the whole ride home (8 hrs). Second bonus. . I caught the bouquet!!!!

My FI is still under the delusion that we can have a wedding for under 5k that includes having it in 111 Place with a professional cake, professional catering, and professional photographer, plus all the other stuff that goes into a wedding.
