I'm here for a bit (It's 11 AM here).
Getting ready to head out to the market for food and then head over to the yacht to hang with H while he babysitts it.

How was your Christmas?

Hi aMrs. Christmas was good. Didn't do much, ate too much food. How about you?

Sounds like our Christmas.

Christmas dinner was made by the English crew on board.  I have leanred the joys of cooking stuff in goose fat.  OMG, it adds such incredible goodness to life.

Sounds good. My aunt made awesome garlic chili prawns. I swear I died and went to heaven. I love it when other people cook for me!

I'm glad you both had great christmases! 

 

I'm here (well, obviously!), although I'm not sure for how long. Christmas completely exhausted me! I am so tired. No clue how long it will take me to recover from the party we're going to tomorrow night (and camping in their backyard) given that I am struggling so badly after christmas despite a fairly good sleep last night!

I'm tired too, but I think its due to the 3/4 of a bottle of bubbly I drank. Oh, I'm such a cheap drunk.

3/4 a bottle is far from the glass and a half, so I think you're ok. ;P

 

I am just too old for partying, I swear. I want to go and see everyone, but I know they will be partying on at 4 in the morning whereas I will be lucky to make it past midnight.

Well in a tent camping; they have a decent sized property (a lot of cleared land, not like our bush outside in our backyard!) where we'll put our tent up, but indeed, I'm sure there'd be critters there. And it will no doubt be unbearably hot as the sun rises... not looking forward to late night and early morning! 

 

Honestly, if it weren't for the fact that we're lending our speakers to them for this party thus have to remain there until the morning to bring them home, and also that it's Nick's friends and we don't catch up with all of them that often, I would totally be having us drop in for the evening and would drive home.

Ok, I need to get out of here.  The stores close between 1 & 3 and aren't open tomorrow, so I need to make sure we have some food.

So late, but I woke up to lots of rain... H and I are brainstorming ways of NOT staying in a tent at this party!
