Re: What's up this Tuesday evening?

• Teachermegs-yeah vodka lemonade is totally my summer drink. We call it "wheelchair drinks" in the family because you never know how hard it hits you until you try to walk/stand. (this post is no way meant to offend anyone BTW)
112 in Iowa??? I can't remember a time when I lived there and it got that hot!
Posted by teachermegs
It was really random because it hasn't been *hot* yet this year and it is going to cool back down tomorrow.  Guess mother nature wanted to slap us around a bit.
• Abbalish - sounds like you had a great time
• Oh, and I put on about 5 lbs in 4 days.  Whoops.
• Ya... really early.  I'm really not looking forward to it.
• Hi ladies!  I'm here watching last week's Survivor and listening to the storm come in.

I hear ya. And I guess the BIL is planning his ceremony and reception at the country club where we had our reception. Great. He called the other night and was asking us all sorts of questions. I don't like to be mean, but dude, do the work yourself. We did.
• Hi fezz!  It was great.  One of my college friends was getting married so our whole group of friends was there, and it was awesome catching up with everyone.  The weather was awesome!  I was especially thrilled that I got to catch up with my friend Charlotte from London, I hadn't seen her since my own wedding two years ago.

SO not looking forward to going back to work in the morning.  A sick day might be in order, haha.

Anything new around here?
• Yeah not who I pictured either, LVB.  But I think he'll play a good drunk guy.

I've never really dieted, but H has gained at least 20 lbs since our wedding, and since we're moving to FL in the middle of bathing suit season, I intend for him to be in as good as/better shape than his brothers by the time we see them again.  It's for his own good.  For me, well, it's hard to compete with a former Miss Venezuela (one of my SILs), but I still want to look decent in a bikini.
• Ugh, I kinda want to boycot now. they've ruined EVERYTHING!!!111!!!

I sort of hate Woody Harrelson.  I just don't see the attraction.  At all.  (I might or might not have been affected when he essentially held the Golden Gate Bridge hostage.)
• No kidding Missy.  H's cousin is using 2 of the same colors as we did (we used 4) and she wants my centerpieces and my decorations.  But, I sold most them before I committed to it.  There's going to be a lot of the same people there that were at ours and I think that'd be pretty weird to use all of the same decor.
• NO!! But I've only seen him in Zombieland. Which I LOVED. But it's not Haymitch. It's just not.

• Oh man, they're doing "Friday" on Glee. And I kinda love it by them. They're rapping part of it now.

I felt the same way with a teammate. She got married a month after us and was constantly asking me questions. I think I made her feel like a piece one day. She started asking about the cash bar and I told her, " I have no idea. We paid for everyone to drink."
She didn't ask me many questions after that.
• Yeah I don't really see him as Haymitch, but I like Woody so hopefully he does well with the part.

Yeah, the whole thing is that it wasn't suppossed to happen until next summer or fall. Even the IL's aren't too happy. I mean, they don't hate BIL's FI, but they aren't the fondest of her either.

They have been together longer than we have, were broken up at our wedding last year (even though we still invited her) and then got back together in Jan or Feb and were engaged at the beginning of April. And now getting married in August. H says she was just jealous of us and our wedding. She is that type of person, still has a lot of growing up to do.

Waiting for FI to get home from work, rethinking our wedding budget, cutting down the guest list, and looking for a new job. I should add multitasking to my resume.
• I just called my sister about the casting for Haymitch and she thought about it and said she can see it. He was good in Zombieland and he can be good as an actor at times, so I can kind of see it. I think it might be better than the other castings so far.

Thanks for the reminder!  I've never actually watched it but wanted to start.  Already loving the songs on this episode.
• I wondering if I can get my butt off the couch and work out tonight. We just ate so I don't know how well that's going to work.
Good evening all. Just got back from dinner with BF and his dad at Olive Garden. I was good and looked at the nutritional information before I left and knew what I should order as the healthiest option (apricot chicken). It was not good. I was happy that I didn't gorge when I'm trying to lose weight, but I really really really wanted something cheesy and delicious.

I wouldn't have been able to stay away from the salad and breadsticks there.  They're one of my biggest weaknesses.
