Proper invite etiquette with a screwed up family....

Ok, for proper invites WITHOUT including my parents, exactly how do we go about this?

Long, screwed up history there.  If anyone would be "presenting" me, it'd be my oldest brother and his wife. 

Then, DF's father retired as a CWO, so how do we use his title?  Do we still use the enlisted type wording?

And to make it all the more fun, yes, it's a formal military wedding, so the invites are now driving me up the wall and then some.

Can anyone help?

Either "together with their parents, SamiGraceT & FI invite..." or maybe try "together with their families".

Together with their families

Sarah Anne Smith
and
John James Doe

invite you...

Ditto PPs. Together with their families...sounds like the perfect way to do your invites.

So, short version....

Then so on and so forth?  That just looks "off" to me, but I'm not sure on why.
