Quick invite question...

I figured I would post on here since you ladies are faster at responding than on the invite board. I am starting to print my invitations and I am having a hard time figuring out how to list married couples with children on the inner envelope. Let's say it is Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Johnny Smith (the child). How would I list that?

I mean, I don't know the etiquette, but I would write Mr. and Mrs. John and Jane Smith, then on the second line write out the kids names: Josh, Jack, and Jill Smith, in order of age.

Thanks ladies! MWhitson, that is what I kept finding when I was looking on different websites so that is probably what I will go with.

Yeah, I'm totally not doing inner envelopes, so that's what's happening on the envelopes for me And I want them to know all the kids are invited, so that's how I'm wording it.

Actually, titles are not required on the inner envelope.

Outter Envelope:
Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
123 Sesame Street


Inner Envelope:
John and Jane Smith
Johnny Smith
Suzy Smith

You can do:

Outer envelope:
Mr. and Mrs. James Smith
Address

Inner envelope:
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
Johnny (first name only)

If there is more than one child, list on second line, oldest to youngest).
