I don't picture Portia or Octavia when I'm reading the books, so they could have been just about anyone and I'd have been just fine.  The one looks like she'd be Rue's mom.

Did they ever post the picture of JLaw as Katniss?? I couldn't remember when that was going up.

The girl on the left is how I picture the Avox that ran into Katniss in the woods and then was caught.

I'm starting to think the Cinna thing is going to be very big when they cast him.   Otherwise why all the secrecy?

I can see those 2 as Portia and Octavia. They have really unique faces that I think will look good when they are all done up as Capital people. I can't wait to see the makeup and outfits the costume designers come up with.

This has nothing to do with Portia or Octavia, but it is HG related.

I just learned about the exitence of Melungeons (clicky) the other day, does anybody think maybe Katniss, Gale and the other people from the seam were supposd to Melungeon? District 9 was Appalacia, and they were described as having darker hair and skin.

Yeah I don't think Finnick comes into play until Catching Fire. And I agree about the first girl and the Avox.

If it's Lenny Kravitz I will probably be pretty darn disappointed, I won't lie.

And the Fox-Face tribute rubs me the wrong way. She doesn't look sly or cunning at all. She's a soft looking little carrot-top.

Other than that, I'm alright with the cast. They took a lot of chances and hopefully it'll pay off.

Really? I find it all very interesting. My mom's maiden name is listed as one of the frequent surnames, so maybe I'm part Melungeon too.
