We decided not to invite anyone with a +1 unless the are married/have a sig other (obviously). This has been ok so far, some people have asked about +1s and whenw e told them no they've been ok (with the except of a groomsmen who hasn't had a girlfriend in 5 years, but that's a whole other story!) but we have 1 friend who we invited with her boyfriend--when the save the dates went out it had both names on it. Then before invtes were sent out they broke up and don't speak so we just wrote "Ms. ___ _____ " on her invite, since she is single. She RSVP'ed with "Ms. ____ ______ and Guest". What do we do? Treat her like the rest of our single friends? We DID address the invitation properly....it's just so hard to do....
