I'll make this as simple as I can.
We sent out our STD's in June... including to 2 friends that have said nasty things about my fiance and me... then apologized to me.
We recently went to a wedding, and they barely bothered with me... one only noting that our wedding date is her bday, so it's a good reminder for when her bday is... and did not acknowledge my fiance.
The next day, my fiance adamantly stated that he does not want these friends at our wedding.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how I should handle this? My fiance's needs are most important, but I want to maintain some dignity. How could I break the news to these "friends" (although I expect our friendship to fade after our wedding, anyway), while still saving face? Should I tell a "white lie"?
