My finace and I have just decided to change our wedding plans. We need to move and realized how much the wedding budget money my parents are giving us would help in the move instead of having a big wedding. (my idea the whole time, he just got on board!).
We have decided to just do a small/private ceremony in the morning with just family.
Then we are wanting to have a small "reception" after, and just invite people to the "reception".
We were then going to send out annoucements to everyone. (the other 300 people that would have come to the big wedding).
What should we call this "reception"? A Toast, A Celebration???
How should the invites read?
How should the annoucements read?
