He is game for whatever I want to do even if I know he really could care less or would prefer not to do.  When I told him the estimate for the wedding was $40,000 he didn't break up with me.

I get foot rubs when I can't sleep.
I always get to pick the movie.
I always get to pick the restaurant.
The other day I came home to fresh sheets.  I love fresh sheets.  They weren't due to be washed for another few days, but god it was awesome.
I love when i catch him snuggling with my dog and he kisses him on the forehead. 
He tells me I'm beautiful, funny, sexy every day. 
His smile is heart melting.

Because 7 years ago he told my parents that I was being an idiot 18 year old and eloping because he knew that, secretly, I actually wanted them there. My step-dad showed up at the courthouse, and I've been forever grateful.

Because 5 years ago when I had my daughter, he showed up within the hour with a gift for me and big hugs to pass all around.  I have a framed picture of him holding her when she was a few hours old right here on my desk. ♥

Because, when he accidentally found out that I was getting a divorce (before we told anybody) he was the first to call, listen to me cry, and convince me to try counseling. We did, and stayed together for another year.

Because, 2 years after the ex and I split, he went to the ex first to tell him that he was in love with me before he ever even gave me a clue, and would have walked away if the ex had said no.  (They've been friends since 9th grade)

Because my daughter graduated pre-K next week and I can't be there - he and my ex are going together.

Because, when I'm at my wits end with my 5-going-on-15 year old, he calmly intervenes and has us both smiling/thinking rationally again.

Because when I idiotically took a Maymester two weeks ago, he took care of the cooking/dishes/bath time/bed time routine so I could read 5 hours a night and mainting the Dean's List.

Yep...I do love my firefighter. ♥

He loves me for who I am

He's my best friend in the world.

I can be my dorky self around him and he thinks it's cute.

He's dorky sometimes, too.

He calms me down whenever I start to get anxious/stressed out/freak out.

He is an amazing father to our son.

He works hard all week so I can be (for the most part) a SAHM.

He asked me to be with him 7 years ago, I got scared and said I didn't know and even though it took me 5 years to get my sh*t straight, he gave me a second chance

He drove 5 hours to spend my birthday with me in Vegas after I invited him at the last minute.

He drove 2 hours to take me to a job interview in tucson.

He puts up with my terrible directional sense and constant calls of, "how do I get there" or "I think I'm lost"

He tells me I'm beautiful every single day.

He holds me and makes me feel better every time I randomly break down crying because I miss my friend who passed away 2 years ago.
