That sucks, bree!  What store was it?

I'm going to complain, too.  I finally have opened every wedding present and taken inventory to figure out what we still need (we had two big registries, one at Macys and one at Belk, so it's been weird trying to balance the two).  We registered at Macys since it's national and Belk, because they don't have Macys in Tennessee where my fiance is from.  Anyway, we received over $700 in gift cards from Belk, and I sat down tonight to purchase a bunch of our crystal and other stuff.  Turns out, Belk won't start accepting gift cards online until Fall 2011!!!  SERIOUSLY!?!  Now I have to have essentially $700 sitting in a drawer somewhere for another few months!?!  ARGH!! 

I know it's not a big complaint, but it's just annoying!

That sucks Bree.  I bought a rhinestone headband from the mall and when I bought it they told me since it had rhinestones it could not be returned.  I decided it's probably because their stuff is probably made really shitty and people always try to return it because the rhinestones fall out.

MP, that's also annoying.

It's 2011.  Anything that is worth doing is worth doing on the internet.  Including purchases with gift cards.

I couldn't believe it!  I had my cart all full, and then when I couldn't find where to put the g.c. # at check out, I uncovered that little note.

And the closest Belk store is in Maryland (we live in Boston).

I realize it's a difference of 2.25, but if I would have only wanted to pay $12.75 for a $15 proof they wouldn't have accepted that- so why do they think they can only credit me that much? I still haven't called them but I'm still considering it- again, it's the principle of the thing.
