Help! Invite Goof! What do I do????

Hi all,
I just this minute finished addressing and sealing the envelopes for our first 28 invites. However, as I got up from the table I realized that I forgot to put the postage on the response card envelopes!!! What do I do????

carefully unseal the envelopes, put on the postage, and then get envelope sealer (or a light glue) and reseal the envelopes.

or you could go in the corner and rock your booddddyyyy... yeeeaaahhhh.

Breathe.  It's not ideal, but also not the end of the world.  At this point there's nothing you can really do (unless you have outer envelopes you could swap out).  Make sure you put the postage on the rest of them though.

It is not required by etiquette to include a stamp on the response cards, or even to include a response, it's just an additional courtesy.  It is so commonly done, it's often mistaken for a "requirement".  It may help encourage guests to actually send a response and makes it more convenient for them to do so, but it doesn't guarantee it.
