Drinks on the dance floor

Although I don't have a personal issue with whether anyone dances with a drink, and I don't even really care whether I get splashed....collateral damage....I DO care when that person is so drunk he/she cannot maintain a grip and drops the glass to the floor.  At the last wedding I attended, the glass shattered all over the dance floor.  Most of the girls were barefoot....assumed it was ice...and started swiping it off the floor like hockey pucks.  Not pretty....
