Crash, her FI totally promised he'd stop using his secret cell phone to tell other women he's single. And its not like he met them in person, he just made some plans to meet them as an "ego boost." So, it's not like he was really cheating. I am sure their relationship will be totally improved by marriage.

And hey, we already know she has tons of practice misplacing the blame for an adulterous relationship on the single woman involved instead of the married man, so she's totally prepared for marriage to a guy like this.

[QUOTE]I do not think that resenting the affair partner more than the parent is necessarily a sexist position.  Adult children might feel the same as regards step dad and mom, if mom were cheater.   IMHO, no one has the right to be foregiven, the child can forgive whomever they want.

But it's easier to forgive those who give you money, right?

[QUOTE]In Response to Re:parents bringing 'dates': Her parents are still married to each other, so she isn't breaking up a social unit by not inviting her father's mistress. My dad's whore was not invited to my or my brother's wedding. Now that my parents' divorce is final, we do include each of their SOs in social situations.

I would have to agree with this.
