Invitations

To save on costs I am planning on addressing my own envelopes both the outer and the response card. 

However, the invitation is attached to the inner envelope which is a pocketfold and I won't be able to fit it through my printer. 

Is it absolutely necessary to included the guest name on the inner envelope ?

Can you write the names by hand on the inner envelope? Or run them through your printer before you attach the invitation to it?

why don't you try making labels for them?

The company is assembling the invitations so it won't fit through the label but maybe I can do clear labels. Good idea thanks!! 

We are trying to avoid the extra cost of a calligrapher or I would totally just write the names on it. 

Still wondering though if I really need to put names on the inner envelope.
