wedding day makeup

I'm trying to get some ideas for my eye makeup for my wedding. I want something a little different, with no heavy liner. Lots of lashes, maybe a hint of purple. Im looking at pictures, but Im not sure about anything. Anyone have any ideas? Pictures?

You could ask for a smoky eye using purples instead of the dark greys/ browns/ blacks.

I think this is what I'll end up doing, and see what I get. I saw a picture in a magazine that I LOVED, but I cant find it now, boo.

I didn't want heavy makeup either. I did mascara, liner on top, and golds/browns for the eyeshadow instead of darker colors. I added some lashes too because mine are really short. I rarely wear makeup, so I didn't want to look like a fool on my wedding day pretending that I could pull a lot of makeup off. Haha.

Maybe do some golds with purple?

Gold and purple look amazing together on eyes. I love doing purple shadow because it makes my eyes pop/

Yeah, I think purple with golds would be a nice subtle look. Unless of course, you are looking for something more bold like Kate Hudson's look. I am personally not a fan because I would look like a fool with that much purple on my eyes, but blending it with gold would be nice.
