I have had a few guests ask in the last week if they can bring a date. My wedding is this Saturday! Ladies, for the sake of other brides everywhere, let your friends know it is extremely panic-inducing to ask a bride within 2 weeks of her wedding if they can bring a date (when the invite clearly indicates no plus 1), and when she says no, to ask again! This is really frustrating for me, and I can't believe I actually have friends who lack manners in such a way, and can't use basic logic to figure out this may not be an appropriate time to ask this! *whew* Thanks for letting me vent.
