Well, after 16 months, it's finally over.  The day went by so quickly, but it was better than I could have ever imagined.  Thanks for all your help throughout the past year. 

I'm going to start a married bio this week and I'll start putting non-pro pics up.  Until then, there's a teaser in my siggy.

Some people just have alot of other stuff going on and yes, our weddings are not as important to other people as they are to the bride & groom who are planning them.  Assembling favors isn't really anything I'm excited to do but I'm planning to do it myself b/c I figure if I'm not jumping with joy over stuffing candles into organza bags then I'm not about to ask any of my friends to give up their time to suffer, too. lol.  That's great that they're planning both a shower & a bach party for you. Despite their own busy lives they are giving up the time & money to organize these events for you - so they are interested in helping make this a nice experience for you. And as long as they are supportive of your marriage to FI then that's what truly counts at the end of the day, right?  I do get that it's a little disappointing to not have friends ask more how things are going, etc - but just try to focus on the true meaning of all this crazyiness - your marriage to your FI at the end of the day. Not everyone gets super excited over weddings but that doesn't mean they'renot  happy for your upcoming marriage.
