F/U to the weird twin shooting story

Here's the follow up to the story I posted last night about the twins who were both shot:  http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_16649332

Apparently, they talked to the surviving twin today and the two had a suicide pact and each shot herself.  No idea why.  And, obviously, they can now identify which one died since the other can talk again. 

Still weird and sad.

That's just horrible and sad.  Why on earth would they want to kill themselves?

That's really sad. I can't imagine being their parents, or the surviving twin. That has got to be hard to handle.

I know they weren't identical, but I did hear an interesting fact the other day that identical twins tend to have shorter life spans than others. I thought that was interesting.

Wow that is incredibly tragic.  As a twin myself, I could never imagine shooting my sister and having her shoot me in soem sort of pact.  How sad.

That is so incredibly tragic.  It's also sad to think she'll never get past this completely because her sister is gone.

I wonder what the surviving twin will do once she's out of the hospital. I'd be worried for her well-being. It'd be one thing for a sibling to die, but I've heard twins have a different bond. This whole thing is really sad.
