Interesting situation... I need to address an envelope to FH's sister and her family - husband and 3 kids. The problem is that her 18 year old son is in a rehab program for drug abuse. He's on the other side of the country, cannot receive mail and will be there through the time of our wedding. There's no way he'll be there and we all know that.
I'm torn about what to put on the inner envelope; either:
Dad, Mom, Son, Daugher1 and Daughter2
or
Dad, Mom, Daughter1 and Daughter2
I don't want it to seem like he's not invited or welcome. He'd absolutely be there if it was a possibility but we already know he won't.
Is it better to include him or not?
EDIT: I guess I feel like a reason not to include him is that we know he's not at their house to receive the invitation... if that makes sense.
