I don't do rivers. 

I am not allowed to go down rivers.  In highschool I didn't have a curfew but I couldn't go tubing down the river.  My dad was crazy overprotective over "dangerous sports".  Haha.  But, I could stay out til 2 or 3am... logic.  There's none.

Tubing down the river is like...the LEAST dangerous thing EVER! There's one spot where there's a bit of a drop down, but for the most part, it's just 4 glorious hours of drinking and floating with some partying in the middle.

We have TH's all over where I live.  I just never have liked any of their donuts for some reason.  The timbits all just seem so dry, even the glazed ones.  I do LOVE their hashbrowns though - they are so good.  When I was pregnant I went their every morning for a while and got a caramel iced capp supreme / sausage egg biscuit / hashbrown.  I just recently looked up the calories in that about a month ago and realize why I gained 50 pounds.  It's like 1200 calories for that meal.  And I mean I ate it everyday for like 3 months straight.

I love Timmy Hoho's donuts.  They're the best things ever.  I wonder why yours are dry.  Up here they're always good.

my dad was always all "there are sturgeon bigger than you in that river!!  bla bla bla."  Plus I got swept under a current as a kid at a river and had to get pulled to safety.  And I'm scared of water... so there's that.

oh yeah, here they're always moist for even a day afterwards.

get a regular iced cap made with chocolate milk next time!  less fat AND calories! 

i've never had the hashbrowns.  just an english muffin sandwich.  i enjoy it.  and i like their ham and swiss sandwich.  they recently changed the bread though and now i'm not a huge fan.

That's ok.  They're my favorite too.  I was just trying to make myself feel better about not going.  Because, you know, it's all gonna suck with the river monsters, snakes and crappy donuts.

yeah, my dad is crazy.  i wasn't allowed to go skiing either.  because he had a bad ski accident when he was 17.  so ski trips with the school?  no. 

when mike got injured pretty bad a few years ago, we didn't hear the end of it.  "see, skiing is dangerous."

I just had a ridiculous curfew and a brother who would sell me out.

If I lived somewhere with lots of snakes I'd give my kids a ridiculous curfew too

My two cousins who got pregnant at 16, however, gave my Dad nightmares about grandparenthood at a young age.
