Any other Etsyans?

Etsy currently has a troll called "F*** your hearts" and is "hearting" all the popular stores.  A bunch of girls on their forum have their panties in a wad over it.  Most of them have a sense of humor, though, and just think it's funny.

I didn't even know they have forums! Half of my wedding is coming from etsy, though. Invitations, cake topper, calligraphy, veil, details... I don't know what I would have done without it!

I didn't know they had forums either, huh. I do love me some etsy though. I've been imaginary shopping for lpstl's baby for months on etsy. I have a huge favorites list of baby stuff. Clearly I don't have enough babies to shop for.

I don't have a store on etsy (I couldn't craft on the craftiest day of my life with an electrified crafting machine /Simpsons) but I do shop there, often. Right when it first launched, I used to read the forums specifically for drama.

Wow. That seems like the troll has a lot of time on their hands---and so do the store if they took the time to notice.

Yep.  And the funny thing is, I don't think anyone really looks at who "hearts"/likes anyone's shop.  These people that are whining have THOUSANDS of "hearts."  Hell, I didn't even know how many "hearts" I had until I checked to see if the troll hearted me.  I would have been flattered. 

There's someone else who's whining that someone is copying her product.  This girl makes blankies.  Do you know how many people sell effing blankies on Etsy?  Sweetheart, you do not have the blanky market cornered.  I doublt you have a registered trademark on blankies.

It's funny. 

The forums may only be for sellers, I'm not really sure.  If you're not a seller, the forums would probably bore you to tears.  Especially right now with everyone asking how to count inventory for their tax return.

I do, too.  I try not to browse too much because the urge to impulse buy is high.  I got 2 really cute dachshund-shaped chalk-boards for Christmas--I'm keeping one in my office at work and one at my home office.

I bought some really cute wine glass charms from a knottie/etsyan as a gift to someone, but I liked them so much that I kept them.  Hehe.
