I judge...

Re: I judge...

  • I judge FI's sister-in-law for not doing anything whatsoever to discipline or teach her child right from wrong. Want to know why she keeps pulling CDs off the CD rack and throwing them? Because you let her. Want to know why she keeps climbing onto the fireplace? Because you let her. Want to know why she bit you the other day? Because you let her. The same goes for her flushing your watch down the toilet, throwing the kitten, and coloring on the walls every day. Sitting back and watching her do these things, instead of steppping in and teaching her, is not good parenting IMO.

Get off your lazy butt and teach her something.

I think this was touched on in the Teen Mom thread the other night, but seriously Farrah! I judge the heck out of you, because I don't think that you've fully realized the fact that you have a child. And her mom for hitting her, although I don't think anyone is innocent in that family!! She is my least favorite.

Oh, it's a pretty good name. Not terribly common. I like it now much better than I did when I was a kid. Honestly, I want to give my kids names that aren't unheard of but that are also not very common as well.

Kiki, I actually knew someone who has your maiden name - she pronounced it with two syllables. You?

Maybe it's time to stop being an overbearing psycho and diagnosing your kid with someone he doesn't have.

I've been here for 3.5 years, and they still misspell my first name on a regular basis. While there may not be a difference between Ann and Anne to them, there is for me! I've spelled it correctly for 28.5 years!!

Oh, here's one.... I judge the parents who took their two TODDLERS to see the new Predator movie. They finally left the theater, but not until after a guy gets a huge stake through his neck and another guy got ripped in half. I wanted to smack them (parents, not kids).

My middle name is Anne and it's a big deal to me. I could see how that, being your first name, would really piss you off.

It's actually a law here that you can't smoke within 20 feet of an entrace. Not enforced. People smoke in our garage near the elevators all the time. Especially in the winter. Cause, you know, it's all of 64 degrees outside in Janaury.

  • Mery- mine rhymes with "Boy". I've heard it pronounced a bunch of ways, though.

Farrah on Teen Mom... ugh, so much judgement. She's such a little brat.

  • I judge the people who live in the neighborhood around my work (it's an old airforce base) who let their dogs shiit on the fields that people play sports on (soccer, ultimate frisbee, softball) and don't clean it up. Yeah, because stepping in dog crap is so awesome no matter what we're doing.

I judge all the weekend drivers and tourists in the city right now that make my commute suck. My coworker and I nearly slammed into no less than FIVE cars last Friday on the way home because they just randomly stopped in the middle of the street when they realized they were lost. SMRT.

  • I judge one of my bosses for constantly screaming at people for things that are not their fault. And all of them for having no idea how to manage people's workloads appropriately.

I also kinda judge my co-worker who just told me about the vow renewal she is planning for her 5 year anniversary. Her wedding is in two months and it's a pretty elaborate affair. WTF do you need another big celebration for after 5 years?

  • People at my job still spell my name wrong - I'll have been here 5 years in November. I know it's spelled wrong, but holy cow, you take the normal name spelling and add an 'e'.
  • Speaking of names...I have an incredibly common maiden name, it's a household word. I would guess that all of you have said this word at least once this week (if not every day). I get asked how to spell it all.the.time.

I judge my cousin's high school advisor, who told her that taking math class 1 would be better for her than math class 2 because she'd get a better grade and raise her GPA for college. Nevermind that math class 1 isn't counted by the colleges here, so she'd still be a math credit short by their standards and couldn't be accepted anywhere, regardless of GPA.

I had a common word as my maiden name (5 letters long, BTW) and people always asked how it was spelled. I think because it sounded so simple people figured it must have been spelled weird.

I worked with this one girl for 5 years who spelled my name "Laureen". Which I would assume would be pronounced like "Maureen".

Then she found me on facebook and messaged me and still spelled it that way. Even though it says the correct spelling of my name on my profile.

    Idiot.

  • I don't usually judge people for mispronouncing my name. Although it's rather irritating when they see the "e" and automatically call me "Annie". Ummm . . . okay . . . ?

But if they get my last name right, I'm amazed! I am a bit excited to be changing to a really common (spelled in the usual way) last name after we get married. I already give it to restaurants for reservations. No issues with spelling! YAY!
  • Speaking of the ballet I judge the new kid who's suddenly showing up at my Wednesday ballet class and stands directly behind me during barre exercises. I'm all for men in ballet but give me some space dude. You're taking away from my special ballet time because all I think about when I lean over is my butt in your face.

I also judge litigious people but that's because I JUST got back 10 minutes ago from arbitration regarding a car accident I got in 5 years ago. He's some guy who hasn't worked since the 90s and is claiming huge amounts of money for back and neck injuries. He has had a bad neck/back for over 20 years. Jerk face.
