We're getting married on a yacht in San Diego with only close family & few very very close friends. We live in Arizona. We heard from a few uninvited family members (that we're not close with) that their feelings were hurt that they're not invited. We have a big family & a ton of friends so we're thinking about doing a backyard BBQ 2 weeks after the wedding to celebrate. We'd invite people who attended & those who could not. We wanted an intimate wedding so that's why we chose a destination, but didn't want to hurt anyones feelings. Is this tacky, rude or a good idea?
