You know, it's been so long that I actually asked for something for the holidays, I don't even know what it was.  H and I aren't getting each other anything (again) this year, and we're really far from family so we don't get anything from them either.

OMG, they're the cutest things in.the.world.  I loved mine soooo much.  His name was Brownie, and he had a brown patch over his left eye, was white through most of his body, and had a brown patch on his butt.  He was so adorable.

4. Do you like guinea pigs? Funny story. My college roomie and I bought a guinea pig. A boy from Petsmart. So we came home from a test one day and our boy guinea pig had given birth to two more pigs. We're lucky (s)he didn't eat them. From then on we had 3 guinea pigs. I loved them. Chowder, Scoops, and Puffy.

5. Favorite adult beverage? Red wine, bacardi diet, bud light, or 'ritas.

Not really, though I "inherited" one from a neighbor when I was 2. Basically, he was my parents' tenent. He died and I got to keep the guinea pig. He was about 35, which is kind of weird, when you think about it. Her name was Gwendolyn.

5. Favorite adult beverage? And go!
Microbrewed beer. Specifically I like Allagash, from Maine. Or a good, homemade whiskey sour. Or homemade margarita.

It was the saddest thing I've ever seen when he died.  Even my dad, cold hearted bastard that he is, sobbed like a girl. I don't think I can have another one after experiencing that.

Seriously, it was like watching a baby die.  He was so cute and helpless.  He also had a strange relationship with our evil cat.  The cat would sit inside Brownies cage, next to his pigloo, but never bothered him at all, and Brownie would snuggle up to him.  It was fuucking adorable.

Amoro, my parents just adopted a new pig when one of our other ones passed away. Her name is Ginny Pig, and whenever my parents let them run around, she runs up to our dog and snuggles with him. He's 95 pounds, so he's huge. He's really gentle with her, though.

I love how I can turn any thread into a conversation about guinea pigs.

1. What're you doing right now?  Eating raw cookie dough and hoping it doesn't snow tomorrow... or that the snow holds off until about 1ish.  Also getting drunk texts from my FI who is in Bethlehem (Pennsylvania, not Palestine).

2. How much does E suck right now, scale of 1 to 10 (1 being it's amazing, 10 being it's like Barry Manilow dancing naked during your vows)  I'm kinda sick of the errors, so we'll go with a 7.5.

3. What do you want most/did you get for the holidays?  Well, I was hoping to get my wedding dress for the holidays and we're supposed to go tomorrow morning, but the snow might cancel out that hope.  Also, a dog.  A dog has been on my Christmas list since I knew how to write d-o-g.

4. Do you like guinea pigs?  I have one; his name is Littlefoot.

5. Favorite adult beverage?  This is a tough one... love Victory Beer because the the brewery is 10 minutes from mi casa.  Also love (LOVE!) mojitos.  And Lindemans Framboise beer, but I can't afford it often.  OH, and champagne (cheap or otherwise).

1, because I am glad to be back and have no idea what the board climate is like right now.

I don't have strong expectations in general, but I know FI got me a Kelti Red Cloud (best women's frame pack out there). I'm pretty stoked about that. And he got a Kindle.

A dryer, some MBT toning shoes.  Facinating.

I like them, but I do not enjoy caged animals.  Too much work for too little reward.  My childhood cat used to pee on my mm's guinea pigs.

Wine...red or white...sometimes rose.
