I judge

Re: I judge

  • P2 I'm with you on the people smoking in the car while there are kids in there.

It's bad enough you're exposing yourself to that shiit and other people have to smell you all day, but putting your kids through the second hand smoke - NOT cool.
  • Brie, that's good to hear. I'm really glad she responded to your assertiveness. But I'm sorry you're still having issues with her. I think counseling is a great idea for getting out of ruts like this with family, so good luck with that.

Meg- Sorry, didn't mean to inadvertently judge your parents. Embarassed I think it's less weird in older adults, especially if they've been married since before the internet was invented. ;) Or if they have email set up through their cable provider, then I can see just using a group name and not using it much. It's just annoying when it's people who have otherwise been very independent and connected digitally prior to marriage, and then they just throw it all out the window once they get a ring.

    That's an excellent point.

My mom still needs help with email attachments and opening crap.  I can't imagine her having her own facebook.  And my grandparents have one email address for both of them.  It works.
  • Who called Salt a snowflake?

I must say though she is pretty like a snowflake :)

  • I judge the couples' facebook thing too.
My cousin is on there as " Jesse'n'Amy ". They're both 24 years old. Get some individuality. Seriously.

Besides, her updates have been "Jesse'n'Amy are in the hospital". I commented and asked, "which one of you". She rudely responded, "Amy, of course, you're my cousin, don't you know what's going on in my life!!". I said, "no, I haven't talked to your mom since before our wedding". She said, "you got married?".....uhhhhhh.

    This is BSC aunt's daughter...

  • I guess the KPS posters are judgeable and some of the stuff (cheating especially) deserves comments.  I just judge those who write stuff on top of it to judge.  I guess that's done now though right?

I judge my boss for expecting me to do work during my last 7 days here.

I judge people who misspell etiquette on the Etiquette Board.  It's at the top of the page.

My FI wants a joint email account.  He hates email and would like me to deal with all the junk his family sends.  I don't know if I can handle all of the political garbage his uncle sends out when he's bored.
  • I have no problem judging KPS posts.  Seriously, I'm not supposed to judge cheaters or people who are involved in hit and runs?

Along the lines of couples facebook names... I judge the friend of a friend who clearly put her name "Last First" like a moron (i.e. Smith Joe).  Yes, I've verified this was the case.

  • I judge my boss for telling me we were going to meet right after lunch yesterday.  To me that means 1 o'clock.  He didn't leave for lunch until 1, decided to take a >2 hour lunch, and didn't tell me anything about the change in plans.  Then when he got back he had to make some phone calls.  We didn't actually meet until 4!
    Married 10/2/10
  • I'm in the same boat Kiki, to make room.
I don't judge the people who were raped, or are depressed, or have EDs...but if you cheat on your FI, H, BF, SO, I totally judge you.

What a nightmare. Yet another reason this doesn't work out well for couples. But her responses were pretty funny.

    Yeah, I judge him.

You judge a lady for having pica?

  • Yeah, that's kind of douche-y.  Pica is a real disorder.  I had it when I was young - I ate dirt, paper, chalk . . . all sorts of things.  It's due to nutritional deficiencies, usually.

  • Yeah, I was about to say, I think that's a disease... don't those people usually eat like, rocks, too?  I thought it was caused by an iron deficiency or something.

  • I developed PICA for a short period of time.....I had low iron and it made me chew ice like crazy - which I found out was a form of it.  Once I got my iron levels up the urge for chewing ice went away.
  • Ok, that makes sense. I was thinking it was a voluntary thing or that she just liked the taste or something. Whew!

I judge myself for being slow on the draw today. Sheesh.
