Hi fellow brides!  I am Kristina and I am getting married 10/10/10! I have been using The Knot for along time now, but I just decided to join the community to communicate with everyone lol!  I started here because there were so many posts, it looked like the coolest and most popular place to be!  

My fiancee is Brandon.  I am going to school to be an X-ray technician, and Brandon is an amazing carpenter right now and wants to be a police officer or a fire fighter! (Man in uniform! lol).  We just got our first apartment together, and we have a chihauhau named Bella, a gray tabby cat named Curious, and two turtles named Chloe and Cletus.  I am wanted to plan a Twilight theme wedding (but not over the top!  Just suttle things like apples!).  So all I have to do is convince Brandon and wedding planning is ago lol! 

Anyways, I am eccited to be here and to join this network of brides!  This is such an amazing time for me and everyone else getting married, and I can't wait to get to know everyone and bounce ideas off each other!

Nice to meet everyone!  Anyone want to tell me about yourselves and your weddings!

SanFrancisco was amazing! WE had so much fun (we knew we would) we had a good, serious talk on our way back too which was nice.
The boss has not been too bad lately, thank goodness.

Glad to hear you had a good time! And serious talks are always productive, things moving along at a comfortable pace, yes?

Things are good for me. I'm still looking for work where FI is, and coming into my hometown for work in the meantime. I had a second interview for a social media position with a PR firm last Thursday, but haven't heard anything yet.   Wedding plans are moving along also, its crazy how quickly it seems to be coming up.

Glad to hear things at work are going better. Did you ever buy riding boots you were looking for?

Yes, I've noticed the older I get the quicker stuff passes by. I can't imagine when I'm wedding planning how it will fly by.

Yes, things are moving at a great pace. We will likely get married next summer.

I got the boots but they were way too big in the claf so I gave up (its too hot here now to even try looking anymore). I've moved on to summer dresses haha

Thanks Roxy! I'm kind of neutral at this point, though, not expecting much. The interviewer said she'd have a decision this week. I hadn't heard, so I emailed her today. Alas, no response. I fully believe that if this doesn't work out, its not supposed to and I'll move on.

Excellent! (about the comfy pace and whatnot) I can't wait to hear when you start planning.

I hate the whole calf-fitting on boots. I have chicken legs and its really hard to get a great boot fit. Summer dresses are fun though! I've been looking at swimsuits online (ugh). They have some new spanx additions, though. They seem to be promising, just a bit expensive.
