    Thanks for saving me, I was starting to feel kind of pathetic. :)

    I'm actually pretty smell-oriented. I like lots of food smells, especially the kind when you have something cooking in the oven for an hour, like a roast or chicken with the skin on or Black Russian Bundt cake. I also like the way FI smells. And I like the smell of rain, and of wet earth. And the smells of springtime in general. And lots of other things. I love how smell is so evocative and can really bring memories back.

    You're welcome. I love clean laundry and the smell of babies. I was totally smelling one of the babies at work today...and wow that sounds creepy huh?

    What are two things you want to do before you die? Get my doctorate and have kids. It always makes me mad when people talk about the world ending in 2012, because if that happens I won't have time to do either of those things and I will be super pissed off.

    Best memory of your entire life? I like thinking about FI's and my real first kiss. Not the weird one when I was 17, but when we actually started dating. He was awfully suave. He's a lot taller than me, and he gave me one of those really big hugs where I ended up off balance, and I fell into him, and well.... :) Then later, when I was driving home, Elvis's "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You" was playing on the radio, so I always connect the song with that moment.

    Any phobias?

    And heights. And enclosed spaces. And falling from great heights in enclosed spaces, like a mine or something.

    Not really. There's one of the grad students at my school that I always know she's in the building because of the smell of her perfume. I can just walk into the building and go, "Yup! Julie's here."

    <strong>Museum:</strong> The Met. I've been there the most often, and their American collection is ridiculous.

    <strong>DE:</strong> Beer that only costs $1.50 but is actually good, like Yuengling. I love that I can get completely wasted for less than $10.

    <strong>States:</strong> I think I'm around 29.

    I love that sometimes when we're on the phone I ask him to tell me a story about a goat who's also a superhero, or a cat named Peter that's wearing a beret, and he always comes up with great stories.

    In other words, I like that our sillies are the same kind of silly.

    Aww! That's one of my fav things about DH too.

    If you were forced to go on a reality show, what show would it be?

    Someone gives you $500 and you have to buy something cool, not pay bills or anything, what would you buy?

    <strong>Art:</strong> I study American sculpture, so I guess I like that the best. I like a lot of American sculptors who are not really common names, like Saint-Gaudens and Hiram Powers. But I also like Jackson Pollock a lot, although I don't think I would ever try to write about him.

    <strong>Booze:</strong> Honey, I can get into trouble with beer. I'm kind of a lightweight.

    <strong>Concert:</strong> This is lame, but I don't really go to rock concerts because they hurt my poor tender ears. I do go to lots of great musicals, though, and once I saw a performance of Les Mis in Illinois that was just unbelievably amazing.

    <strong>Nuts-driving:</strong> He is ridiculously messy, and also it drives me nuts when he calls me while he's also doing several other things. He'd probably say that I have a hard time letting things go when something is on my mind, and therefore I badger him too much.

    I haven't posted anything true or otherwise. I don't have all that many deep dark secrets, and if I wanted to discuss one of them, I wouldn't do it anonymously.
