Which one do you like better?  And, would you do all the same color, or would you alternate?

That's a good place to look anyway.  There's a ton of fabrics.

I prefer runners. That said, we didn't really have either- we used pianola roll in squares for under the centerpieces.

I'd like a subtle print of some sort.  Not super loud.  Although, yes, I realize watermelon can be loud on its own.  The more I think about it, the more those plain overlays sound like a cheap, easy choice.

That would do all my tables plus cake table, gift table, etc., with a bit left over.  That's counting 85" in length, full width, one runner per table.

I love that.  Plus, my dress and the BM dresses are tafetta.  But, it's pricey.

Yeah, it honestly took months and months of searching to find fabric that I liked.  So, it just depends on how much searching you want to work on it.  I think if you wanted to use runners or overlays, a whooooole load of pink would be eyeball searing.  lol  That's kind of why I was suggesting a print.  Perhaps you can alternate a plain with a print?  And use both of your colors?  We didn't have a lot of tables, so I just kept them black with silver thread.

Ooh, I like them both.  But wow is that expensive! lol... I was looking at the cheapest cotton stuff. heh.

Ok, I ordered samples of both.  I think I could do runners out of the pintuck and only need 25 yards.

I kept mine in the same tone and color, but all diffferent patterns. It took a while to collect all the fabric and make them, but it was super cheap ($6 per table) and they really looked great.

If you are patient, it can be done. for fabrics that weren't wide enough, I added a band on either side, so there were seams, but not one person noticed once the tables were loaded with centerpieces and baskets.

There used to be a really awesome fabric store here.  Unfortunately, they closed 6 months before we got engaged.  Else, I would go to Baer and be done in one trip.  Gah!  I keep putting this off because I can't make up my mind or find anything I love.
